Catterick Runner Preview

We head to Catterick today with one runner, Glenridding, who goes to post in the 1.10 under Callum Bewley.

Glenridding showed plenty of enthusiasm last time out, perhaps a little too much, racing freely in the early stages and ultimately paying the price late on. That run has given us something to work with, and the plan today is very much about getting him to settle better and switch off during the first half of the race.

Callum will look to ride him a bit further back, allowing him to find a rhythm and conserve energy, which should help him finish his race far stronger. If we can get him relaxed early, he’s more than capable of showing improvement when it matters most.

The ground is a slight unknown, but we’re hopeful conditions won’t inconvenience him and that he can put his ability to better use today without burning too much fuel early doors.

Fingers crossed for a more measured performance and a step forward.

Good luck to all connections 🍀🐎
