Evening Runners at Wolverhampton
We have two runners at Wolverhampton this evening, both ridden by Greg Fairley, and we’re hoping for solid performances from each of them.
7.00 – Back Tomorrow
She’s been a bit of a puzzle at the start, regularly missing the break and conceding valuable ground early, which makes life difficult around here. She produced a very encouraging run a couple of runs back and we felt we’d found the key to her, so the most recent outing was a little frustrating. That said, she continues to please us at home and her work suggests she remains in very good order. If she can come away on terms and not give away so many lengths, she should be capable of being much more competitive. With a smoother start and a bit of luck in running, she has the ability to make her presence felt.
7.30 – Ramon Di Loria
Ramon has been training well and comes here in good heart. He’s a previous course-and-distance winner, which always counts for plenty at Wolverhampton, and he tends to do his best work when the race is run at a genuine pace. We’ll be hoping for a strong gallop to aim at so he can settle, find his rhythm and finish off his race in the straight. If things unfold to suit, he’s more than capable of picking off rivals late on and getting himself back into the winner’s enclosure.
Good luck to all connections and to everyone attending this evening.
