Back on the Big Stage: Heading to Cheltenham Today
We’re delighted to be heading back to Cheltenham today with our sole runner in the 3:30, partnered by the ever-reliable Craig Nichol. It’s always a privilege to have a horse run at such an iconic venue, and the team is proud to see him take his place on one of racing’s biggest stages.
He comes into the race having already secured two victories this year, and he’s been in excellent form at home. His work has been strong, his attitude spot on, and he continues to thrive with each passing week. While we would have preferred to get a prep run into him before tackling today’s challenge, he should take a big step forward for the outing. He’s still carrying a bit of condition, and the ground will be testing, but he’s a horse who gives his all and continues to progress.
The aim today is to let him enjoy the experience, get him into a rhythm, and allow him to show what he can do. A finish in the first eight would be a brilliant outcome given the circumstances, especially with his main target being a race at Kelso later in the year. Today is another important stepping stone in what we hope will be a long and successful season ahead.
It’s exciting to see him represent the team at Cheltenham, and we’re grateful to everyone involved behind the scenes for getting him here in such good order. Best of luck to all connections, and thank you for the continued support.
