Georgie’s Malt at Hexham

We’re back in action today with Georgie’s Malt, who lines up under Craig Nichol in the 3.05 at Hexham The mare has been in good order at home, showing all the right signs in her recent work, and we’re hopeful she can build on the experience and fitness gained from her last few runs.

Craig knows her well and will look to have her in a nice rhythm through the first half of the race, before asking her to finish off her effort strongly. She’s still learning with each outing, but we’re pleased with the progress she’s making both mentally and physically.

Today’s favourite looks a tough one to beat on paper, but we’ll be delighted if Georgie’s Malt can put in another genuine performance and get herself in the mix for the places.
