Pinpoint Back to Form with Impressive Hamilton Victory

It was a busy evening at Hamilton on Wednesday with three runners representing the team, but the standout performance came from Pinpoint, who delivered a thrilling victory in the 6.45pm contest under a confident ride from Shane Gray.

Despite slightly dwelling at the start, Pinpoint didn’t lose much ground and soon settled nicely just behind the leading trio. As the race unfolded, he travelled strongly, and with two furlongs to go, Shane made a decisive move to switch lanes—an inspired call that allowed Pinpoint to quicken smartly and charge home with real purpose, getting up in the final strides for a well-deserved win.

It was a fantastic ride from Shane and a great result for all involved. A big well done to the team behind Pinpoint and all the connections—wins like this are what it’s all about!

Elsewhere on the card, Ebony Maw and Ramon Di Loria also took their chances. Ebony Maw will likely be seen to better effect in the coming weeks, particularly at Ayr, a track he’s previously shown a real liking for. As for Ramon Di Loria, we’ll head back to the drawing board and look at the best route forward for him to get back on track.

Congratulations once again to everyone involved with Pinpoint
