Thursday at Carlisle – Cracking Destiny Takes His Chance

We head to Carlisle today with just the one runner, as Cracking Destiny lines up in the 4.15 under Craig Nichol.

At the time of writing, he’s a big price in what looks a typically competitive handicap chase, but we’re hopeful of a good showing. The ground and track should both play to his strengths — he’s shown in the past that he handles these conditions well — and with a few rivals making their seasonal reappearances, we’re hoping fitness could just give him a little edge.

Cracking Destiny has been in good order at home and is a horse who always gives his running when things fall right. If he can travel into the race smoothly and find a rhythm early, we’d like to think he can run a solid race with each-way claims.

Best of luck to all involved — owners, connections, and everyone supporting from home.
