Nellie Bluesky heads to Sedgefield for her second run back after a lengthy year off the track. She’s had a few minor niggles along the way, but the team are much happier with her now and she seems to be back on the right path.

She made a pleasing return at Kelso last time out, shaping well after such a long absence, and that run should have brought her on nicely fitness-wise. While she may still improve for the outing, we’re hopeful she can take a step forward today.

She lines up here to take her chance in an open contest and, if building on her Kelso effort, could be bang there in the finish. At the prices, she looks a solid each-way option and we’re quietly optimistic she can run a very respectable race.
