🏇 Today’s Runner – Haydock (12:50)

We have one runner today for Ewan Whillans Racing, with Cracking Rhapsody lining up in the 12:50 at Haydock, ridden by Craig Nichol.

This marks Cracking Rhapsody’s first run since December, and his first start following a wind operation. He has been showing pleasing signs at home, working well and coming into this race in good order. That said, after a short break and returning in a competitive handicap, he may just come on for the run today.

He carries top weight, which is never easy in a race of this nature, and that could tell late on. However, he’s a genuine type who always gives his running, and the main aim today is to see him travel well, finish strongly, and run his race with encouragement for the weeks ahead.

Whatever the result this afternoon, this outing should leave him spot on for his next intended target at Kelso, where conditions are expected to suit him very well.

It’s a competitive contest, but we’re hopeful of a positive, promising performance, and we wish the best of luck to all connections.
