Back at Ayr - Pinpoint & Ramon Di loria

Ewan Whillans Racing is back at Ayr today with two runners lining up in the same race – and we’re pleased to see a bit of rain about, which should help their chances.

Pinpoint – Callum Rodriguez / Owner: James Ross

With Pinpoint, it’s all about which version turns up on the day. If he jumps out well, travels comfortably, and the race unfolds to suit, he’s capable of running a big one. He’s got his quirks, so it’s a case of things needing to fall into place for him.

Ramon Di Loria – Jason Hart / Owner: Ewan Whillans Racing Club

Ramon has been a little too keen in recent runs after finding himself in front, which hasn’t been ideal. Today, the plan is to get him out of the stalls, take a bit of cover, and hopefully settle him into the race. If they go a strong gallop, that should play right into his strengths.
