Back at Sedgefield with Two Runners

We’re looking forward to heading back to Sedgefield today with a couple of runners for the team.

First up in the 2.45, Luminaries lines up with Sean Quinlan on board. He’s been going nicely at home and we think the step up in trip should suit. Sedgefield might not be the perfect track for him, but with limited options around at the moment, this gives him valuable experience ahead of a race we’ve got our eye on at Newcastle later in the month. It would be great to see him run into the placings today, and anything above that would be a real bonus.

Later on in the 3.45, Scot’s Poet (pictured below) runs with Craig Nichol taking the ride. He’s had a little break since his last outing, when Hexham didn’t really play to his strengths. It did give him some useful experience, though, and Hayley has been doing a terrific job with him at home. She says he’s been schooling well, jumping great, and feeling in good order. He may just come on again for the run, but he’s a previous winner at the track and with only four runners declared, it looks a competitive little race.

Best of luck to all our owners today. Two small fields to take part in, and hopefully a slice of luck can see us coming home with some results.
