Hidden Mountain Makes His Debut at Ayr – 3:15pm

We head to Ayr this afternoon with one runner, as Hidden Mountain makes his racecourse debut in the 3:15 under Craig Nichol.

Hidden Mountain is a horse we’ve always liked at home. He’s shown a professional attitude in his work and has taken each step of his preparation in his stride. Today marks the next stage in his development, and we’re looking forward to seeing how he handles the occasion.

The ground has gone heavy, which wasn’t exactly what we were hoping for. A sounder surface would likely have suited him better at this early point in his career, so the conditions do introduce an element of the unknown. That said, he’s a genuine type with a good mindset, and whatever he produces today will give us something to build on for the future.

This run is very much about education and experience, but he’s there to take his chance and we’re hopeful he can acquit himself well.

Best of luck to all connections, and as always, you can follow our updates and behind-the-scenes content on our social channels.
