Newcastle Preview: Ramon Di Loria & Back Tomorrow

We’re back at Newcastle today with two runners for Ewan Whillans Racing.

Ramon Di Loria lines up in the 6.45, with Conor Orr onboard. He’s been a very consistent performer, continues to work well at home, and always gives his running. He’s been knocking on the door for a while now and looks due a win, with as good a chance as anything in the race. A decent pace would really help him, and hopefully things fall right on the night.

Back Tomorrow runs in the 7.15, with Greg Fairley taking the ride. She was slowly away from the stalls last time, although it was an improvement on previous starts, and we’re hoping that continues to progress. The plan is to get her settled in behind with some cover and allow her to finish off her race strongly. Last time didn’t really suit her, as the race was run at too steady a tempo despite her breaking reasonably well. With a stronger gallop today, she should have a much better opportunity to get involved.

Best of luck to all connections.
