Newcastle Runners Preview

A busy day ahead for the yard as we send three runners to Newcastle. The team have been working hard at home and we’re hopeful each horse can take a positive step forward.

🏇 3:18 – Royal Blaze

Jockey: David Nolan

Royal Blaze has been showing good form at home, and although his latest run was disappointing, nothing came to light afterwards. He’s been freshened up and seems in a much better place now. He’ll be ridden to stay the trip well, and we’re looking for a step forward today based on how he’s been shaping at home.

🏇 7:00 – Pinpoint

Jockey: Greg Fairley

Pinpoint has been off the track for a while, and during that time we identified a few issues which have now been sorted. He’s in good order but will likely need the run. He’ll be ridden to get the trip and should improve plenty for this outing. We’re hoping this can be a positive starting point for him moving forward.

🏇 7:30 – Ramon Di Loria

Jockey: Rowan Scott

Ramon Di Loria returns to a track he loves and drops back to his ideal 5 furlongs. It’s a competitive race, but he’s well in himself and we’re hopeful he can give a strong account. If he gets the right run, he should be right there at the finish.
