One Runner For Ewan Whillans Racing

We’ve just the one runner out today, and it’s a very special one – Cracking Destiny. He’s more than just a racehorse to us; he’s very much part of the family and a real stable favourite. Over the years he’s given us some incredible days and has been a fabulous horse to be associated with.

Now in the later stages of his career, he might be getting a little long in the tooth, but he still shows plenty of enthusiasm for his racing and for life at home. When the ground eventually goes against him, he’ll be retired and kept here at the yard, where we’ll continue to enjoy him for many years to come.

Today’s race is competitive, as you’d expect, but he goes there to run his race and we’d love to see him show a touch of that old sparkle. A place would be a lovely result, but if everything drops right, a win certainly wouldn’t be out of the question.

Whatever the outcome, he owes us absolutely nothing – he’s been a star for the yard and we’re just proud to see him out there again. Best of luck to all connections today.
