Royal Blaze Aims to Build on Strong Recent Form

We head to Newcastle this afternoon with Royal Blaze, who lines up in the 1.27 with Shane Gray taking the ride.

Royal Blaze has been going particularly well at home of late and continues to please us with his attitude and work. The original plan was to freshen him up with a short break, but with Newcastle adding this extra fixture, it felt like the right opportunity to run him again while he’s in such good form.

He arrives here on the back of two solid placed efforts, and his running style remains the same – he’ll be dropped in early and look to come through late with a strong finish. The track and conditions should suit, and Shane knows him well, which is always a positive.

We’re hopeful of an each-way run, and if things fall into place at the right time, there’s every chance he can be right in the mix for a win.
