Two Runners Head to Wolverhampton Today
The Ewan Whillans stable heads to Wolverhampton today with two runners on the all-weather, both representing us in competitive races and giving connections plenty to look forward to.
Back Tomorrow lines up in the 2.45, with Greg Farley taking the ride. She has been a little disappointing in her recent start and comes into today with a few questions still to answer. However, the hope is that a stronger pace in today’s race will play to her strengths. She finds herself in a grade she is certainly capable of winning, and if everything falls into place, we’re hopeful she can be finishing her race strongly and be involved at the business end.
Later on the card, Zephlyn contests the 4.15, with Rowan Scott aboard. He’s a horse who takes plenty of work to reach peak fitness and has had a few minor setbacks along the way, not least due to the recent weather. That said, he’s been showing good signs at home. He may just need this run to bring him fully up to speed, but he’s also the type who could surprise us if things go his way. An each-way run would be very welcome, and anything more would be a bonus.
Overall, we’re hopeful rather than overly confident with both runners, but each has ability and plenty of reasons to be positive.
We’d like to wish the very best of luck to all connections today.
Website Update
Away from the track, we’re pleased to share that we’ve recently revamped several sections of our website, including the Racing Club pages. The club now features four horses, and we’re excited to see what they can produce over the course of the year. Be sure to check out the updated pages and follow along as the season unfolds.
