Runner Update: Billy Bathgate Heads to Southwell

We have one representative running this evening for the yard at Southwell:

Billy Bathgate heads into tonight’s contest in very pleasing form at home and has been giving us plenty of encouragement in his recent work. He has always shown a liking for the Southwell surface, which is a big positive, and the booking of David Nolan looks an excellent fit for the horse — a jockey who should suit him well and get the best out of him in what looks a competitive field.

He’s currently going nicely in the All-Weather Bonus leaderboard and we’re hopeful he can add some more valuable points to his tally with a good run here. While this is a strong race, if Billy can reproduce his best form on the track, we feel he has every chance of being involved at the business end.

An each-way chance at the very least, and we’re looking forward to seeing how he gets on. Fingers crossed for a big run.
