Two Runners for the Yard This Evening

Today we send out two runners for the stake today - and we’re looking forward to seeing how both get on.

GLENRIDDING

🕠 5:35 – Newcastle

🏇 Tristan Durrell

Glenridding has been working nicely at home and comes into this in good order. He didn’t take to the starting stalls on the Flat, so we’ve switched things up and sent him over hurdles, which looks much more suitable.

The plan will be to ride him patiently towards the rear, let him find his rhythm, and hopefully deliver a late challenge when it matters. This looks a nice opportunity for him to put in a solid performance, and we’re hopeful he can run a big race.

BILLY BATHGATE

🕗 8:00 – Wolverhampton

🏇 Oisin Orr

Billy Bathgate lines up for what will be his final run of the All-Weather Winter Bonus campaign. He’s been an absolute star for the yard throughout the winter, showing incredible consistency and enthusiasm despite his age.

It’s a testament to him that he’s still performing at this level—he really doesn’t know he’s getting older. After this, he’ll enjoy a well-earned break, with a possible switch to summer jumping on the cards.

Regardless of what happens today or in the coming months, the plan is likely for this to be his final season before retirement. He’s been a fantastic servant to the stable, and win, lose or draw, we couldn’t be prouder of everything he’s given.

Best of luck to all connections
