Weekend Runner Update

We head into the weekend with a couple of runners and a few more lined up for next week — here’s the latest from the boss;

Saturday – Musselburgh (4:55)

Showmethewayhome makes her return to action under Oisin Orr. She’s not been seen on the track for a while, so naturally, we expect her to come on for the run. She’s in good order at home and we’re looking forward to a fun summer campaign with her. She may want a bit further in time, but this is a nice starting point, and we’ll be hoping for a positive showing to build on.

Sunday – Perth (Ground Dependent)

Tartan Cookie is entered at Perth with Craig Nichol in the saddle for owner Mrs M A Scott. He’s in good form at home, but we’re watching the ground closely — he’ll only take his chance if it’s on the soft side of good. Perth hasn’t always been the ideal track for him based on past form, but with limited options at the moment, we’ll make the call on the day. If he doesn’t run, we’ll look to get him back to one of his more favoured tracks soon.
